#1 HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS:

12.30 pm - 1.30 pm Modern Calligraphy with Rabbit Loop Calligraphy - Hands on workshop where you'll learn a little about modern calligraphy and how to do faux calligraphy/hand lettering and get a chance to make something to take home.

Capacity 15 people based on first come first served, repeat twice, 20 minutes each workshop.

1.30 pm - 2.30 pm Art of Chocolate Making with Fork to Farm Catering - Fork + Farm Catered Events is the premium full-service catering and event company, located in Calgary, Alberta, dedicated to the craft of producing SPECTACULAR events for discerning clients. Join them for this highly interactive workshop to paint bonbon molds, choose different ganache / fluid gel fillings and of course taste the samples!

2.30 pm - 4.15 pm Floral Design Workshop with Cory Christopher - Get ready to get creative! Join us as Cory Christopher and his design team lead you through the design of your very own succulent terrarium; a perfect addition to your home or office. Our terrarium bar will be stocked with  stones, moss, bark and a few little surprises ready for your imagine to start dreaming. You'll also learn the necessary growing tips to keep your succulents thriving at home.

Capacity 15 people max based on first come first served, repeat 3 times, 25 minutes each workshop.

#2 EDUCATIONAL BOOTCAMPS BY NAIT CONTINUING EDUCATION

Join us for these short engaging bootcamps presented by instructors at NAIT Continuing Education Event Management Program! 

Capacity for each bootcamp is 15 people max based on first come first served, repeat 3 times, 15 minutes each bootcamp.

2.00 pm - 3.00 pm Top 3 apps #eventprofs can't live without with Caitlin McElhone - Event Technologies instructor, Caitlin McElhone, will share the top 3 Apps all event professionals should not be without. Apps are a powerful way to communicate information, track timelines, manage staff and share inspiration. If you are not using apps to help plan your events then this session is for you!

3.00 pm - 4.00 pm Relevance and Novelty with Alexandra Armstrong - Creative Concepts instructor, Alex Armstrong will share a fresh approach to event design by thinking 'inside the box'.  Clearly understanding and setting the parameters of your event (the box) allows wildly creative ideas to emerge.  Join us for this fast, interactive session and learn how relevance and novelty drives creativity.
